Carnival at Maldron Hotel Oranmore for children’s hospital

Maldron Hotel Oranmore is hosting a ‘Crumlin carnival’ family funday in aid of its chosen charity for the year, Crumlin Children’s Hospital.

As the charity is close to many peoples' hearts, a number of other businesses have lent their support to the day, such as Busy Bees, Galway Dog Club, and Ailwee Caves.

The day will be full with activities. One of the most exciting events is the dog show and obedience demonstration by Galway Dog Club. Families are welcome to bring their dogs along to take part in the dog show, where there will be a number of prize categories, such as cutest dog and best owner/dog lookalike.

There will be more animal fun with a birds of prey demonstration from the Ailwee Caves, who are bringing along a bird from their impressive collection of hawks and falcons.

Guests are welcome to meet the birds and speak to the expert trainer for an entertaining and educational experience.

Finally Busy Bees, one of Galway’s most popular children’s activity centres, will be out in force with their ‘Bees on Skates’ for a children's rollerblade disco.

There will also be a host of carnival games, food, prizes, discounts, and giveaways so the whole family will be kept entertained, fed, and happy, all while raising money for a very important cause.

Entrance on the day is free.
