Get ready for the Campo Viejo Tapas Trail 2016

Discover the passion, generosity, and vibrancy of Spain as the Campo Viejo Tapas Trail returns to the streets of Galway city from August 24 to September 7.

This now annual celebration of the best of Spanish wine and cuisine will take place in four venues around Galway city. Spend a summer evening or afternoon strolling in the sunshine, visit four of the city’s best tapas restaurants, and enjoy a selection of authentic Spanish tapas created to complement the well balanced, tasty, and round, full, flavours associated with Campo Viejo Reserva.

Hosts guide guests along the route from restaurant to restaurant, inspiring them with local city and Spanish anecdotes and sharing their expertise and insights into the unique characteristics of Campo Viejo wines.

A highlight of the summer food calendar for many Galwegians, this year sees the welcome addition of two new restaurants to the Galway Tapas Trail, 56 Central and Bite Club. With its combination of arts, culture, food, and wine, 56 Central is sure to have something for everyone, while Bite Club boasts world inspired food prepared using only the freshest locally sourced ingredients.

Returning for 2016 are Cava Bodega, home of chef, food writer, and ambassador for Spanish food in Ireland, Jp McMahon; and the House Hotel in the Latin Quarter, known to locals and lucky holiday makers for its delicious food offerings.
