Chekhov workshop with Max Hafler

MICHAEL CHEKHOV believed the job of the actor was to make the intangible, tangible, and to reveal the invisible to the audience, and his technique continues to be taught to actors today.

Expressing The Invisible, a workshop in the Chekhov technique with Max Hafler, takes place from Thursday August 18 to Sunday 21 in The View, NUI Galway. Thursday will be an afternoon session, Friday to Sunday will be from 10am to 5:30pm.

The workshop is presented by Chekhov Training and Performance Ireland and The Centre For Drama, Theatre and Performance NUI Galway. Max Hafler trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and the Michael Chekhov Association in the United States. He has been teaching acting for the past 25 years.
