SOME OF the best emerging Irish comedians, who regularly headline the Róisín Dubh's Tuesday night Comedy Showcase, will be headlining tomorrow night's Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh.

The Clubh’s MC Steve Bennett has chosen his Top 5 Comedy Showcase comedians from 2016, so the performers will be Paul Marsh, Keith Fox, Peter Flanagan, Cormac McGuinness, and Grainne McKeever.

Paul Marsh is a multi-award winning Tipperary comedian, described as "a rising star of Irish comedy" by Dublin's The Laughter Lounge. Keith Fox has played Kilkenny Cat Laughs and Longitude.

Peter Flanagan has performed in comedy clubs in Australia and Edinburgh. He was a finalist in the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year 2015, and was selected to perform at the Stand’s 'Best of Irish' showcase at the 2015 Edinburgh Festival.

Cormac McGuinness was a runner-up in the 2016 Show Me The Funny competition, earning him a spot at the 2016 Vodafone Comedy Carnival. Grainne McKeever's fierce observations and quirky storytelling have seen her perform at Electric Picnic, Body & Soul, and Forbidden Fruit.
