DEEP, SOULFUL house and techno cuts, with heavy Detroit, Chicago, and African influences will be heard tonight at Electric when DJ Tamo Sumo hits the decks.
The Berghain and Panorama Bar resident plays the Abbeygate Street venue tonight from 11pm as part of the Galway International Arts Festival. After holding down residencies at Drama, Cafe Moskau and Tresor in Berlin, Tamo is now considered one of the world’s finest selectors, and she has also used her position to promote LGBTQ rights.
