'Hard Rock Hallelujah' - Lordi to play Monroe's Live

LORDI, THE Finnish heavy metal band who won the Eurovision in 2006 with ‘Hard Rock Hallelujah’, have announced they will play Galway later this year as part of the European Monster Tour.

The band - Mr Lordi (vocals ), Mr Amen (guitar ), Mr Ox (bass ), Mr Mana (drums ), and Ms Hella (keyboards ) - play Monroe’s Live on Thursday November 10 at 9pm. The show will feature the band in full costume, performing their trademark melodic metal.

The group was formed in 1992 by lead singer, songwriter, and costume maker, Mr Lordi. They have released eight albums and toured across the globe. The band are currently working on a new album, which, according to Mr Lordi, will feature six individual songs, and a further six in prog-rock mode, which will follow a single concept. The first single from the album, 'Hug You Hardcore', is set to be released in August.
