ASLAN FRONTMAN Christy Dignam, and band co-founder Joe Jewell, will perform their intimate acoustic show, Some Songs and Stories, in the Town Hall Theatre, this Saturday at 8pm.
The show will feature many of Aslan's best loved songs, along with covers of works by artists who have influenced Christy and Joe. They will also tell stories about their lives and being part of the band.
U2’s Bono is a big fan of Christy, and has said about the singer: “What a voice, what a voice, the Angel of Dublin“. U2 invited Christy to perform with them at their recent sold out Dublin gigs, but Christy had a prior engagement at a charity show, and had to turn U2 down.
