Welcome To The Carnevil

"Theatre without a condom" - The Circus Of Horrors 21st Anniversary Tour

IT HAS been called "circus without a condom" by The Telegraph, "blood thirsty and burlesque" by The Independent, and "a bloody great night out" by The Times. This is Welcome To The Carnevil - The Circus Of Horrors 21st Anniversary Tour, which comes to The Black Box Theatre on Monday May 30 at 8pm.

Featuring some of the greatest and most bizarre circus acts on earth, performed by an almighty cast with a forked tongue firmly in each cheek and the devil driven rock‘n’roll of Dr Haze & The Interceptors from Hell, this is what Cirque Du Soleil would be like if Quentin Tarantino was director.

Welcome to the Carnevil is set in Victorian London in 1899, the age of the freakshow. A young girl dreams of running away to join the circus, only to see her dream become a nightmare in a decrepit and corpse ridden Carnevil, plagued by a swamp of Killer Klowns, sword swallowers, death defying aerialists, fire limboing acrobats, a Guinness World Record holding Herculean Diva swinging solely from her hair, and fire limboing acrobats, and more, in a show ruled by the undead, which climaxes in a flaming apocalypse.

Tickets are available from the Town Hall on 091 - 569777 orwww.tht.ie See www.circusofhorrors.co.uk
