Windings - new single and Róisín Dubh show

Listen to stream of new track 'Stray Dogs'

WINDINGS RETURN In 2016 with Irish dates, including Galway next week, festival appearances, while their fourth studio album, Be Honest and Fear Not, is due out in the autumn.

A taste of the forthcoming album is provided via the new double A-side single, 'Stray Dogs'/'Helicopters', which marks new territory and direction for the Limerick band, eschewing pop sensibilities in favour of a more saturnine and desolate sound.

Since the release of their last album, the Choice Music Prize-nominated I Am Not The Crow, Windings released a split record with Dublin indie band Land Lovers and collaborating with Rusangano/Family and Naive Ted. Windings began as a solo project of former Giveamanakick frontman, Steve Ryan, but has now grown to accommodate like-minded musicians over the years.

The band will play a free gig at Strange Brew in the Róisín Dubh on Thursday May 26 at 9pm. Gugai will DJ afterwards.
