CHRISTY MOORE releases his new album, Lily, on Friday May 20 and he makes a welcome return to Galway to play The Connemara Coast Hotel on Thursday June 23.
Produced by Declan Sinnott, Lily features 10 tracks, some penned by Christy, along with versions of songs by Peter Gabriel, John Spillane, and Declan O’Rourke. “This collection has been a joy to record," said Christy. "We worked at different locations over the past two years and now it's time to let it off upon the air.”
The first single from the album, 'The Tuam Beat' is available on iTunes, Google Play and Spotify. The other tracks are: 'Mandolin Mountain', 'The Gardener Lily', 'Wallflower Oblivious', 'Ballad of Patrick Murphy', 'Lightning Bird', 'Wind', 'River Man', 'Green Grows the Laurel', and 'Lost Tribe of the Wicklow Mountains'.
