The Underscore Orkestra and Suadela Bellydance to play Róisín Dubh

THE SOUND of New Orleans, Eastern European folk, jazz, and Jewish music will collide in exciting fashion with sensuous middle eastern dance, when The Underscore Orkestra and Suadela Bellydance play the Róisín Dubh on Friday May 13 at 9pm.

The Orkestra play a host of genres, which can also include Manouche Swing and even "acoustic metal". Based in Portland, Oregon, its members come from across the globe. The Orkestra has toured the Americas, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, travelling in many ways, including by aeroplane, train, boat, car, hitch hiking, and vegetable oil powered tour bus. However, their favorite way is by bicycle, which they have done numerous times in Europe.

Suadela Bellydance is a 10 piece bellydance troupe from Cork, performing improvised and choreographed dance.
