GALWAY FANS of early Jamaican roots ska are in for a treat when Big Jelly, who play songs by Toots & The Maytals, Skatalites, Prince Buster, Bob Marley, and Lee 'Scratch' Perry, come to Monroe's.
Big Jelly perform at Monroe's Backstage Bar on Friday May 20 at 9pm. Their five-piece brass section ensures an energetic show and the band members are from such well known local acts as Timbertramps, My Fellow Sponges, and Mikey and the Scallywags.
