ARTIST COLM Sweeney is exhibiting his latest works in the Renzo Gallery Café on Eyre Street, exploring the west of Ireland landscape, Galway hookers, and historic Irish buildings.
Colm lives and teaches painting at his Galway Art School in Annaghdown. He grew up in Gurteen, County Sligo, where he was encouraged and influenced by his artist father Joe Sweeney. This led him to study Fine Art at Galway RTC in 1990. After graduating, he worked as a graphic designer, commercial artist, and sign writer.
The exhibition runs until February 21. Artists interested in exhibiting in Renzo should contact Susan on 086 - 8521102.
