THE GALWAY Sings Project Choir is seeking new members for the upcoming term and is open to those who want to sing in a group, sing in public, learn how to sing in harmony, or who want to try something different.
Nervous or novice singers are invited join the class and the group will work towards a public performance in March. The choice of music ranges from Coldplay to Barry Manilow. Singers will learn their music in a class but will receive a pack including CDs and lyric sheets with music for the singers to sing with outside the class. It is not necessary to be able to read music.
The first class takes place in NUI Galway, Room AM112, Arts Millennium Building, on Thursday January 14 from 7.15pm to 8.45pm. For more information contact Peter Mannion on 086 - 2271210.
