KeyWest to play Róisín Dubh

FIVE TOP 10 hits, a No 1 album, and one of the most radio played independent bands in Ireland, KeyWest have come a long way since their days busking on the streets of Dublin and Galway.

KeyWest, the band about whom Hotpress recently asked, "Are they the next Irish band to conquer the world?", play the Róisín Dubh this Saturday at 8pm.

The band's debut album, 2012's The Message, went Top 20 in Ireland. It was recorded in LA with multiple Grammy Award nominee Mark Needham who has also worked with Fleetwood Mac and The Killers. Their second album, Joyland, released this year, reached No 1. After years of toil and perseverance, the band's success is well earned, and neither has it gone to their heads. "We don't want to be all over the tabloids," the quintet's Andy Kavanagh and Andrew 'Glove' Glover have said, "we're happy in the background just selling out shows all over the world.”

Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, the Ticket Desk at OMG Zhivago, Shop Street, and The Róisín Dubh.
