The Shades - a night of rock'n'roll @ Monroe's Live

"THE SHADES are a full live energetic act...enjoyable, thrilling, and entertaining," declared Pure M magazine, while DublinConcerts.ie said several of their numbers "could be hidden songs from The Beatles debut album Please, Please Me".

The Dublin/Kildare rock'n'roll/blues quintet play Monroe’s Live on Friday December 11 at 9pm. The play original music and cite The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Who, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Little Richard, Elvis Presley, and Dr Feelgood as influences.

The group’s first single ‘I Give Up’ was released last month. In September, they won ‘Best Newcomer’ at the Pure M Awards 2015. The band has supported Cavan rockers The Strypes and singer-songwriter Paddy Casey.
