Interest mounts in the final Connacht Property Auction of 2015

The Connacht Property Auction has noted an uplift in enquiries from buyers over the past few weeks with the last public auction of 2015 taking place on next Thursday, November 19, in The Menlo Park Hotel.

The auction will offer more than 25 properties for sale across the province in Galway, Mayo, Leitrim, Roscommon, Sligo, and also in County Clare. Patrick Folan from The Connacht Property Auction noted there had been a significant increase in enquiries in November versus October. With the Budget come and gone, buying property is now the focus for many people hoping to have purchased before Christmas.

“Our upcoming auction will give buyers the opportunity to purchase their property of interest before the end of the year," Mr Folan said. "Our legal team work with the solicitors to have the legal pack prepared for auction, which avoids prolonged waiting periods after the sale is agreed. This gives buyers confidence to put forward their offers knowing if they are successful, they can move quickly on the sale."

Mr Folan added: “With the high demand we are currently experiencing, now is also a great time to market properties for anyone considering selling as we have thousands of registered applicants looking to buy. We undertake a large marketing campaign for all properties and we do not charge any upfront costs into the auction, so the property owner has no costs unless the property is successfully sold.”
