Shipwrecked Dreams - food, music, art

ASIAN FOOD, music, visual arts, and a land of tropical beach, will be experienced at Shipwrecked Dreams, an event taking place tomorrow eventing at the Galway Arts Centre, on Dominick Street.

Presented by new Galway company Fold/Unfold, sponsored by Galway 2020, and curated by Dani Gill and Féilim Ó Aoláin, Shipwrecked Dreams begins at 7.30pm, where attendees will be greeted with a Sri Lankan buffet and a shipwrecked cordial bar. There will be acoustic music from Miriam Donohue and Aindrias de Staic and projected photography from Donegal based artist Martina Gardiner.

On the first floor, attendees will experience the 'land of dreams', featuring an installation by Dani Gill, along with live performances. There will also be a chill out room featuring work by visual artist and film maker Johnnie Lawson. The night ends with a gig by Galway indie band The Canaries.

Advance tickets are €8 from the Galway Arts Centre. Admission on the night is €10 for adults and €8 for under 18s.
