GALWAY INDIE-electro band Grounds For Invasion unleash their new live show upstairs in the Róisín on Thursday November 12 at 9pm.
Centered around Tracy Friel (lyrics/vocals ) and Will O’Connor (production/guitar ), with the recent addition of Dave Shaugnessy on drums, Grounds For Invasion have spent much of the last year honing their live perfomances at venues and festivals around the country, gathering glowing reviews and recommendations from Hot Press, The Irish Times, The Thin Air, and An Áit Eile. They will be joined by special guest vocalist Steven Sharpe for a performance of the GFI's 'Kung-Fu'.
Support is from Dublin's Riot Tapes. The band's current single, 'Hello Insanity', has been receiving praise, with TXFM's Joe Donnelly proclaiming it "a thunderbastard of a new song". Admission is €6.
