Black Pope - new single and Róisín Dubh show

Watch video for new single 'Atom Bomb'

FREAKY IRISH rock'n'roll band Black Pope are on their Halloween tour of Ireland this week, which takes in the Róisín Dubh tonight, and they have just released their debut single/music video, 'Atom Bomb'.

Black Pope has a taste for all things dark and mysterious, and their music is fuelled on the energy of sixties rock, but with "a sick twist". 'Atom Bomb' was recorded and mixed by Brendan Fennessy (O Emperor ) at Big Skin HQ, and it has been likened to a lovechild of Quentin Tarantino and Queens of the Stone Age. The band has also released a video to accompany the track, which they have described as “...a cute animated story of a young survivor on a mission to lose what little she has left".
