There has been some good news on the local jobs front with the anouncement by Galway based IT security company TitanHQ that it is to create ten highly skilled technology jobs over the next year as the company continues to grow internationally.
TitanHQ, which has been rebranded and was formerly known as SpamTitan Technologies, provides small and medium sized businesses worldwide with comprehensive network security protection through email and web security solutions. Headquartered in Galway, the company also operates a US office in Florida as well as 75 partner offices worldwide. Titan HQ has customers in 129 countries worldwide.
The company has announced that recruitment for the new positions will begin immediately. The jobs will be in the information technology area, and will involve the hiring of technical support engineers, software developers, web developers and software testers across all levels. These additional roles will see the company employ 40 people in total.
Commenting on the new roles, business CEO Ronan Kavanagh, said TitanHQ had pursued very rapid growth since 1999 on the back of a number of significant investments, new product launches and a complete company rebrand. "This recruitment drive is the next step in our growth plan. Galway is a great place to live, whether you want history and amazing scenery or an exciting nightlife with excellent entertainment, Galway has it all."
TitanHQ has experienced aggressive growth over the past five years largely through new disruptive products, the introduction of cloud security services as well as through relationships with channel partners worldwide. “We’ve achieved consistent year-on-year growth since 1999 and these new positions will be key in fuelling our future growth,” said Mr Kavanagh.
