Second phase of popular Knocknacarra development launching soon

Maoilín, Ballymoneen Road, Knocknacarra, Galway city’s first new residential development in seven years, has had a hugely successful launch of its first phase sales.

Burkeway Homes launched the initial phase of the houses to the market in July. This phase consisted of three bed semidetached and four bed detached homes. Interest and demand was very strong from the marketplace and this resulted in all 12 houses selling promptly.

Purchasers were attracted to the fact that the development is designed as traditional semidetached and detached homes with generous open amenity areas, well designed large homes, and the fact that all homes are A rated, resulting in very low running costs.

Michael Burke, managing director of Burkeway Homes, commented: “We are delighted with the reaction from interested buyers to the development and particularly the house styles. We are hugely encouraged by the demand for these properties and are happy that we are offering a high quality, easily run, family home to buyers.”

He added: “The construction of Phase 1 houses is well under way with the houses now at roof level and on target for completion in March 2016.”

Sales agents for Maoilín, Sherry FitzGerald and O’Donnellan & Joyce, are now preparing to launch Phase 2 to the market.

Phase 2 will offer a mix of two, three, and four bed semidetached homes, and some detached homes. The agents are encouraging potential interested purchasers to register their interest by contacting O’Donnellan & Joyce on 091 564212 or by email at [email protected], or by contacting Sherry FitzGerald on 091 569123 or by email at [email protected].
