Kilkerrin proved too strong for Claregalway in the senior ladies county final at Corofin on Saturday evening, winning by 3-15 to 0-9. The winners had grabbed an early stranglehold on the game, and although Claregalway kept plugging away with some fine efforts throughout the field, they trailed at the break by 0-13 to 0-6.
