Clayton Hotel Galway scoops national award at the JCI Friendly Business Awards

Clayton Hotel Galway are celebrating this week having been awarded as national winners in the Disability Access category of the JCI Ireland Friendly Business Awards 2015.

The awards ceremony, which aims to recognise the pivotal role that businesses play in our local community took place at the JCI National Convention in Letterkenny last Friday. It saw a host of businesses nationally compete for one of five prestigious awards including: Best Customer Care, Social Friendliness, Shop layout, Disability Access, and Friendliest Digital Business.

Last month, Clayton Hotel Galway overcame stiff competition from over 50 businesses in Galway city and county to be crowned winners in the Disability Access category of the JCI Galway awards, as well as winning the title of overall Friendliest Business in Galway.  They then proceeded to the national finals which saw them walk away with this national title.  The awards were independently judged by JCI Ireland National President 2015 Jani Hirvonen, Deputy President Brian Smyth and an external judging panel comprising of industry experts.

Ronan Walsh, President of JCI Galway said, “With nominees from all around the country, we are absolutely thrilled that a Galway representative has scooped this award. Clayton Hotel Galway are deserved winners. They always go that extra mile to be as friendly as possible to the customers. It is obvious that accessibility is vitally important to them, and now they have a national award to verify this.”
