SCCUL Enterprises are pleased to present a free seminar on the area of Pensions tonight Thursday October 22 at 7pm. The seminar will take place in SCCUL Enterprise Centre, Ballybane.
Ronan Bray, Principal at Pensions and Finance, a Certified Financial Planner® with over 25 years experience will present this seminar dealing with the whole area of understanding pensions.
“Starting to save for retirement is something that people tend to put off,” says Ronan, “but it should be remembered that the sooner the process starts the better the outcome that can be expected.”
According to Ronan many people admit little understanding of how pensions work.
At the seminar Ronan will outline the methodology behind Occupational Pension Schemes, Personal Pensions, Personal Retirement Savings Accounts (PRSA ) and the State Pension System
Additional topics to be covered in the ninety minute seminar include an outline of State and employer provision for retirement; how people can help themselves in this area, how tax relief works, what benefits are available at retirement and an outline of the death benefits that can be provided through pensions.
