Cronin to play Monroe's Live

LEEDS-IRISH indie rock band Cronin have just released the video for the song ‘See This Man’, taken from the bands critically acclaimed Nelson Riddle EP, and are sure to play it at their show in Monroe's Live this Sunday at 9pm.

The video was shot by band members, Michael Cronin and Brian Murphy, in Newcastle, in Brattvag in Norway, and their home base of Westmeath. It all marks a great year for the band which saw them play gigs from Vienna to Leeds To London, perform at Electric Picnic, and be namechecked by Libertine Pete Dotherty. Teh band are currently working on their new album, with Pogues legend Shane Macgowan, which is due for release early next year.

The band have enjoyed acclaim from critics and musicians. The Waterboys's Steve Wickham called their music "epic stuff, great singing, spine tingling magic"; Nick Hodgeson of the Kaiser Chiefs called them "epic"; while Today FM's Paul McLoone called them "splendid".

Also on the bill are Brand New Zeros. For tickets see www.monroes.ie
