GALWAY ARTIST Paul James Kearney will provide his own particular view of Galway city in his new exhibition, Another View, which opens in the Renzo Café & Gallery, Eyre Street, this evening at 8pm.
British artist David Hockney is known for his iPad drawings, and Kearney is also using this approach in this exhibition for his images of Galway of suburban interiors and the so called 'Middle Arch', running parallel between the Spanish Arch and the Claddagh. Kearney is a graduate of the GMIT, and is also exhibiting works at the Galerie Iliev in Köln. His work can be found in many private collections in Ireland and abroad and at NUI Galway’s art collection.
