Entries sought for junior film fleadh script competition

GALWAY TEENS interested in writing and who love film are being sought by the Junior Galway Film Fleadh to enter its sixth annual Story Pitching Competition in association with Galway Film Centre and SpunOut.ie

The competition is open to those aged between 10 and 18 years. Entrants must write an idea for a story in 500 words or less, it can be for a feature film, short film, TV series, documentary, web series, video game, animation, or combined media project. Entrants are also encouraged to practice describing their idea in front of family and friends, as the entrants chosen for three shortlisted ideas will have to present them in the Town Hall Theatre to an assembled audience and jury on Friday November 13.

The prize is a drama or animation summer camp sponsored by Galway Film Centre, including one year's membership to the centre, and the weekly newsletter. The closing date is Friday October 30.
