PAUL MERCIER, the award winning Irish director and writer, whose debut feature film, Pursuit, premiered at the 2015 Galway Film Fleadh, will give a workshop for actors and film-makers next month.
The 'Workshop for Directors & Actors with Paul Mercier', hosted by the Galway Film Centre, takes place on Saturday November 7 and Sunday 8. It will help guide participants on how to negotiate and work together to create different scenes; provide an understanding of the various different ways to approach a scene; how to work from script, to rehearsal, to going for a take; and participants will workshop scenes together and compare and contrast the different approaches.
Paul also directed the hit Irish-language teen series Aifric for TG4. He is a founding member and artistic director of the Passion Machine Theatre Company.
