Three people who were being questioned in relation to a robbery at Renmore Pharmacy on Tuesday afternoon have been released without charge. A file will be sent to the DPP who will direct if there is to be a prosecution in the case.
Two people brandishing a knife threatened staff at the pharmacy during the incident, which occurred at 1.45pm at the premises on he Renmore Road. The two made off with a small quantity of cash which was later recovered by Gardai.
A short time after the robbery, two men in their 20s were arrested in the Renmore area, and taken to Milstreet Garda station for questioning. On Wednesday a female in her 20s was also arrested in relation to the case.
They have all now been released from custody.
