All set for the county senior football semi-finals in Tuam

The 2015 Galway senior football championship is down to the last  four teams with two intriguing fixtures.

First up at 2.30pm in Tuam Stadium is perennial favourites Corofin who are hoping to add to the county titles they won in 2013 and 2014. They take on near neighbours Cortoon Shamrocks who are gunning for a chance to claim their first  senior title this season.

That clash is followed by former All-Ireland club champions and 2012 county champions Salthill-Knocknacarra up against a youthful and impressive Mountbellew/Moylough outfit (4.15pm ).

That game has added spice and interest with Salthill manager Val Daly’s  two sons, Michael and John, playing for the opposition. There should be captivating breakfast conversation this Sunday morning in the Daly household.
