THE BEECHMOUNT Art Studio in Lackagh will host an information evening on Friday September 18 at 8pm about its new initiative, Beechmount Artists, a programme to develop student’s work practice with the final goal of selling work online.
Beechmount studio was founded by Aisling Kearney Burke, who also runs the popular Paintclub night in Galway city. The studio hosts classes for adults, teens and children, and the artist Kathy Ross has been appointed as watercolour and children’s art instructor.
Beechmount Artists is a graduate programme for advanced, or all willing students. Each participant will receive a personalised tailored plan and instructors will work with them to support and encourage them to further their painting practice, with the end result of getting a monetary return for their hobby.
There will be open studio mornings on Saturdays, September 5 and 12, from 10am to 1pm. for more information see www.beechmountartstudio.com
