GLWAY FANS of The Cure fans have a chance to don the eyeliner, don black gear, and use tons of hairspray and gel when Fire In Cairo, the tribute band to The Cure play Galway this month.
Fire in Cairo - Niall (vocals/percussion ), Manolis (guitar ), Lawson (bass ), Pete (keyboards/vocals ) and Martin (drums/vocals ) - play Monroe's Backstage Bar n Thursday September 24 at 10pm.
The band covers classic Cure songs from their 1979 debut 3 Imaginary Boys, through the goth-rock and goth-pop era, to their 1990s alternative pop darlings status. Fire in Cairo recreates the sound, feel, atmosphere, and attitude of a classic Cure show, promising a setlist to delight long-time fans and curious newcomers.
