Watch the hurling final live in the cinema

Galway fans who cannot make it to Croke Park for the All Ireland hurling final can watch all the action for free at an Odeon cinema.

For the fourth year Odeon cinemas in partnership with the GAA will screen the GAA All-Ireland Senior Hurling on Sunday September 6 when Galway will take on All-Ireland hurling champions Kilkenny.

The closest Odeon cinema for Galway fans is Limerick, but if Galway fans are anywhere else in the country, they can take in all the action at Odeons in Blanchardstown, Coolock, Stillorgan, Cavan, Waterford, Naas, Newbridge and Portlaoise.

Lisa Clancy, director of communications at GAA, says screening the GAA All-Ireland hurling and football finals in Odeon Cinemas nationwide is a fantastic way to soak up the electric atmosphere for those who cannot make it to Croke Park on All-Ireland final day

“We hope GAA fans and families will take advantage of this unique opportunity and come and enjoy the entertainment and skills of our great game of hurling on the big screen on one of the biggest days in the GAA calendar,” she says.

Tickets can now be booked online at gaa.tickets.ie http://gaa tickets.ie* tickets are limited to two family passes (eight tickets ) per person (parental supervision is required ).
