GUESS HOW Much I Love You, the much loved and award winning children's story written by Irish author Sam McBratney and illustrated by Anita Jeram, will be brought to the stage as part of the Baboró International Children's Festival.
The Irish premiere of this show, which will be staged by Nova Scotia’s Mermaid Theatre, runs from Thursday October 15 to Sunday 18, with two shows daily (10am and 7.30pm ). It will be presented together with Anita Jeram’s I Love My Little Storybook, which celebrates the joy of reading. The show is aimed at children aged between four and seven.
Little Nutbrown Hare loves Big Nutbrown Hare as far as he can reach and as high as he can hop. But Big Nutbrown Hare loves him as far as his long arms can reach and as high as his strong legs can hop. It is a show about how to say 'I love you' and will feature puppets and narration by Beau Bridges. It is adapted, directed, and designed by Jim Morrow, with music by Steven Naylor.
Nova Scotia's Mermaid Theatre ranks among North America’s most respected theatres for the young. “This is a very exciting festival show," Baboró executive artistic director Aislinn ÓhEocha said.
