Galway's U16 girls are into the All-Ireland final after defeating Ulster champions Tyrone in Carrick-on-Shannon by 2-14 to 1-10.
They will now play Kerry in the final which is set for Wednesday July 29 at a venue to be confirmed.
In glorious sunshine, Galway enjoyed the perfect start when Leane Coen hit the back of the net after just three minutes.
Tyrone replied with two points, but Corofin sharpshooter Coen landed her first point, followed by one each from Rebecca Kelly and Niamh Daly to maintain the pace.
McCafferty kept Tyrone in touch with a free on 13 minutes, but the powerful Daly from Kilconly bagged 1-01 inside the next three minutes to kill off Tyrone.
Coen, Daly and Clonbur's Michela Ni Chearnaigh all raised the white flag to leave the half time score 2-08 to 0-05.
Although Tyrone threw everything at the Galway defence, it was Sinead Heffernan from Killannin who scored the first point of the second half. Rebecca Kelly increased the Galway lead with two points on the 10 minute mark.
Eve Loughran pointed in the 14th minute for Tyrone, who staged a mini comeback, reducing the gap to five points with 13 minutes still on the clock.
However sub Lynsey Noone steadied the Galway ship and Leane Coen added two more late points to ensure the Tribesgirl advance to the final, having missed out on the chance last year.
