OLIVER CALLAN, the political humourist and satirist and the man behind RTÉ Radio 1's Callan's Kicks, is bringing his stage show to Galway later this year as part of his Irish tour.
Callan’s stage show will feature live music, satire, and comedy sending up the top names in politics, sport, and entertainment, and taking a humourous look at the hot topics of the day. Callan will also feature his impersonations and send-ups of An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny and President Michael D Higgins, as well as a new array of characters including Conor McGregor, Imelda May, Marty Morrissey, and Rachel Allen.
“It’s an incredible time to be in Ireland," said Callan. "There is such a rage among the public like never seen before here. If you are one of those people who are sick of politicians, broken promises, and hypocrisy, then I think my show is the therapy you need."
As well as Callan’s Kicks, the Monaghan comedian was also the creator of Nob Nation. He is a former journalist who has produced four hit albums and has enjoyed numerous sold-out live shows.
Oliver Callan plays The Black Box Theatre on Friday November 27. Tickets go on sale this Friday (July 10 ) at 9am via Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.ie ) and the Town Hall Theatre (091 - 569777, www.tht.ie ).
