Tuam Community Development Project is to receive €147,580 in funding under the Community Development Programme.
Deputy Noel Treacy has this week welcomed the funding, which was sanctioned by Minister of State for Community Affairs and the National Drugs Strategy John Curran.
“This funding comes under the Government’s Community Development Programme and will be used by the Tuam CDP to cover the costs of staff and overhead costs,” Dep Treacy said. “The Government is committed to supporting local organisations and targeting available resources at the most in need in our communities.
