NATTY WAILER, the Jamaican reggae singer-songwriter who worked with Bob Marley, returns to Monroe's Live on Thursday May 28 at 10pm.
Natty, who recorded and toured with Marley as a keyboard player for almost a decade, also worked with King Tubby, Dennis Brown, Lival Thompson, Johnny Clarke, Earl Chinna Smith, Barbara Paige, and The Uniques. Living in Ireland for some 20 years, he has played Electric Picnic, the Festival of World Cultures, Cork Jazz Festival, the Earagail Arts Festival, and Derry's Maiden City Festival. He has also worked with Galway intercultural group Sean Agus Nua, and recorded vocals for the song 'Country Life' by Australian dub-reggae band Secret Masters, for their album Words, Power, Sound.
