A theatre show in support of YesEquality

Overnight Minority Report in The King's Head Thursday May 7

A YOUNG woman finds herself at an unexpected, yet strangely inevitable, crossroads, and in this situation, she has an odd proposal to put to an audience.

This is Overnight Minority Report, a short play by Ann Blake, which will be performed this afternoon at 1.10pm in The Ruby Room, The King’s Head. Written in the very specific environment that has been created in the run up to the Marriage Equality referendum, Blake tells a story to pose a question. Yes or No?

Ann Blake is a singer and bass player with The Brad Pitt Light Orchestra. She has also worked in theatre. Her short play, At A Loss, won The Jerome Hynes Memorial Award in 2009 and her co-written show Tan (Wildebeest ) has toured Ireland over the past two years. The cast includes Lucia Smyth and the director is Ciarda Tobin.

Tickets are €5 on the door with all proceeds going to Yes Equality. The play runs for 25 minutes. See also www.yesequality.ie
