Bradley Dacia on the Tuam Road reminds everyone they should check out Ireland's most affordable SUV - the Dacia Duster, which received a stylish upgrade within the last six months.
The Dacia Duster, which has already sold close to 4,000 models here since it arrived less than two and a half years ago, is looking pretty neat with its new 2015 upgraded look.
Dacia is Ireland's fastest growing car brand with more than 6,800 vehicles on the road and the brand’s ‘shockingly affordable’ pricing has meant its popularity continues to rise. Dacia has also been Europe’s fastest-growing automotive brand for eight years in a row.
Dacia says that for 2015 the increasingly popular Duster has benefitted from a package of styling and trim upgrades but with only a €200 in the brand’s increase. It resulted in 734 new Dusters being registered in January this year alone.
The line-up continues to consist of two and four-wheel drive models based on two trim levels, Alternative 4x2 and Signature 4x2 and Signature 4x4 all powered by the 1.5-litre dCi 110 power unit. New for 2015 is a more stylish chrome front grille made up of two layers of four small intakes surrounding the Dacia logo. All versions now have ‘Duster’ branded roof bars – chromed on Signature models. At the rear, a black tailgate trim with ‘Duster’ branding sits above the number plate.
The range structure is the same as before, but the Signature versions now have smart new Tyrol 16-inch alloy wheels, body-coloured door handles and dark metal door mirror casings. There will be a new colour range available including ice white, silver, bronze, khaki, pearl black and slate grey, with metallic paint an option on both trims for €520.
There is new upholstery and seats for every model with the Alternative version finished in Osmium cloth and Signature in Rhodium cloth with ‘Duster’ lettering.
The model has claimed a stack of awards in Europe and further afield and has established an immensely loyal following, not least because of pricing and specification.
The Duster is covered by Dacia’s standard three year/100,00km warranty.
