Mervue United’s family affair

United are the winners of this year’s Coley Smyth u-14 premier division for a second successive year, having finished the season undefeated - winning 13 and drawing one of their league games.

The team was managed by Coley Kelly, grandson of the late Coley Smyth, and captained by his son Colin Kelly, Coley’s great grandson. Colin was presented with the memorial cup by his grandmother Mary Kelly.
