Tradiohead - live at The Loft

THE MOST unusual and original of tribute bands, Tradiohead, who take the music of Radiohead and reinterpret it as Irish folk and trad, are back.

The band - Jimi McDonnell (vocals ), Philip Fogarty (accordion, bodhrán ), Pat Hargan (guitar ), and Michael Chang (violin, viola, mandolin ) - will play The Loft (formerly Kelly’s ), on Bridge Street, on Friday April 17 at 9.30pm. The quintet play music from across the Oxford band’s career, concentrating mainly on their classic 1993 to 2005 period. Tradiohead have played Electric Picnic and Culture Night in Belfast. They have also featured in Hot Press and Tom Dunne’s Newstalk show.

Support is from Galway singer/guitarist Dylan Murphy, whose music mixes grunge and blues. Check out his debut EP Tell No One Your Goals. Admission is €10.
