A HOST of leading Canadian authors, such as Dionne Brand, Lawrence Hill, and DW Wilson, will be in Galway for the Cúirt International Festival of Literature.
Cúirt runs from April 21 to 27, and other Canadian writers taking part are Vincent Lam, Marjorie Celona, Miranda Hill, and Eleanor Wachtel. The festival will also host the panel discussion, Identity, Home and Place in Canada in An Taibhdhearc on Friday April 24 at 4pm.
The abovementioned writers are with International Festival of Authors Toronto, which has had a relationship with Cúirt for many years. “It is very positive for us to partner with such a prestigious international festival,” said Cúirt director Dani Gill. “We are excited to welcome them and their guests.”
