TOM MURPHY’S Conversations on a Homecoming, will be staged by Kiltimagh’s Clann Machua Drama Group in the Kinvara Community Centre this Saturday.
Set in a pub in a small town in east Galway in the 1970s, Michael – recently returned from New York after a 10 year absence – has a reunion with old friends in the local pub. He was the one who got away to live the dream and now he is back – more or less out of the blue. Faced with the changes the years have wrought, the friends begin a process of self-discovery, eventually leading to many bitter truths and dark secrets emerging.
