WRITERS FROM Galway, Dublin, Cork, and Belfast will read at The Over The Edge March Writers’ Gathering in the The Kitchen, Galway City Museum, Friday March 13 at 8pm.
Lorna Shaughnessy was born in Belfast and lives in County Galway. She has published two poetry collections, Torching the Brown River (2008 ) and Witness Trees (2011 ). She lectures in Spanish and creative writing at NUI, Galway. Angela Carr is a poet and writer and winner of the Cork Literary Review Poetry Manuscript Competition 2013 and the Allingham Poetry Competition 2014. Her debut collection, How to Lose Your Home & Save Your Life, is published by Bradshaw Books.
Shantalla’s Pearl O’Kennedy is the author of I Remember, I Remember: Galway Stories And Memories. Dave Lordan’s new collection Lost Tribe of the Wicklow Mountains is published by Salmon. Cork’s Kathy D’Arcy has published two poetry collections, Encounter (2010 ) and The Wild Pupil (2012 ). Admission is free and all are welcome.
