Lisa Lambe to sing in Mick Lally Theatre

LISA LAMBE, the singer The Irish Times described as having a voice of “pure gold” plays the Mick Lally Theatre, Druid Lane, this coming Monday.

Lambe is currently promoting her new album, Hiding Away, a recent RTÉ Radio 1 Album of the Week, which was recorded in Nashville and mixed by Gary Paczosa (Allison Krauss, Dolly Parton, Harry Connick jr ). It also features the recently released single ‘Heaven’.

Her music mixes acoustic folk with beautiful touches of country. “It is the kind of late night radio friendly fare that made Norah Jones a star,” said Hot Press.

Lisa is a graduate of the Samuel Beckett Centre, Trinity College Dublin. She has starred in The Shaughraun directed by John McColgan, while her role as Philomena O’Shea in Rough Magic’s Improbable Frequency led to a nomination for the Best Supporting Actress Award at The Irish Times Theatre Awards.
