The Local Enterprise Office, Galway brings together craft makers and other members of Galway’s craft and design community, at a special free networking session on February 26. Pop along to hear Bernadine Burke’s inspiring story about her business ‘Friends and Family Trees’.
This is a free event on Wednesday, February 26 from 6.30-8pm and takes place in the Training Room in the Local Enterprise Office in Woodquay Court, Galway.
Friends and Family Trees creates a unique print or drawing of a native Irish tree and comes with an artist quality ink pad and pen. Your friends and family create leaves and branches with their fingerprints and signatures resulting in a totally unique keepsake and work of art.
Facilitated by Bernadine Burke, the session will focus on how Bernadine took her idea from its inception to becoming a current supplier for many major retailers throughout Ireland.
Friends and Family Trees has had strong support from the Local Enterprise Office, Galway. Bernadine will discuss these supports and all of the other challenges and opportunities which she encountered on her journey, offering valuable advice to other craft makers and designers.
As always the networking session is designed to support craft makers and designers with practical advice and easy to access steps to grow their business.
