Hudson Taylor play Black Box next week

AS PART of their largest Irish tour to date, and following the release of their debut album, folk-pop brothers Hudson Taylor play the Black Box Theatre on Monday February 23 at 8pm.

Alfie and Harry Hudson-Taylor released Singing For Strangers in January. The album contains the singles ‘Battles’ which held the coveted Zane Lowes Hottest Record position; and ‘Chasing Rubies’, which was included on the BBC Radio 1 playlist late last year. The video for the song was shot at Blackrock divoing tower in Salthill, Galway:

The Irish Times said of Singing For Strangers: “There’s a charming looseness to the Hudson Taylor’s channelling of Simon & Garfunkel-like folk/pop. The pair have also honed, over the years, a knack for decent pop melodies...These, along with their 20-something cheekbones, will clearly reap dividends.”

The duo have enjoyed a successful past 18 months. Their EPs have sold in excess of 30,000 and they have played London’s Electric Ballroom, Longitude, Glastonbury, and T in the Park, and supported slot with Jake Bugg.

This is a ‘Róisín Dubh presents...’ concert. Support is from Southern. Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, the Ticket Desk at OMG Zhivago, Shop Street, and The Róisín Dubh. See www.hudsontaylormusic.com
