Corrib Rocks charity concert for COPE

THE iROCKS winners Rofi James and Clare based alt ska/indie band The Connectors play the Corrib Live charity night on Friday February 13 in the Commercial Boat Club, Woodquay.

All proceeds will go to Voices for Down Syndrome Galway and COPE Galway Waterside House. Last year’s concert raised almost €1,400. The concert is being organised by students from the Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme in Galway. VTOS provides vocational training courses for adults who have been unemployed for six months or more.

There will be a raffle and spot prizes, buskers, a DJ, and finger food. Comedian Steve Bennett is the MC.

Admission is €5. Tickets are available from students at VTOS, Merchants Square Galway; the Ticket Desk in OMG Zhivago, Shop Street; or via [email protected].
